DELIVERY & PACKAGING ASSISTANT

We are expanding our small (but mighty) production team and looking for a dynamic individual who can embrace this hybrid role. The full time role will be split between delivery/distribution and production assistant.

Delivery Driver

As a delivery driver the work will include, but is not limited to:

Delivering beer to our local accounts, including licensees, vendors and liquor marts
Managing onsite inventory for internal and external sales
Working with the Brewery and Sales on stock allocation
Managing our inventory tool, routing weekly delivery routes, printing delivery slips
Weekly cleaning and general maintenance of our delivery vehicle

Production Assistant

As a Production Assistant the work will include assisting with packaging and cellaring duties, including but is not limited to:

Operation of canning line in accordance with SOPs and Quality parameters, ensuring finished product is packaged to standards
Complete daily packaging records in accordance with SOPs
Cleaning and sanitizing of fermenters and brite tanks – following cleaning SOP and safety protocols
Cleaning and sanitizing transfer lines, brinks and filter– following safe handling practices
Keg washing and keg filling
General daily cleaning and organizing

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Drivers license for a minimum of 5 years
A hard-working individual with excellent communication skills
Highly organized with an attention to detail
Have a friendly and positive attitude
Works well in a team environment
Be self-directed, task-oriented, and have a willingness to learn new skills.
Be able to do physical labour (lift 30L and 50L kegs, lift flats of beer, etc)

Pay: Hourly, starting at $20.00 per hour

Hours: minimum 30 hours per week, weekdays, with occasional weekend work. Opportunity to grow to 40 hours per week.
