OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and personable individual to join our small team at
Good Neighbour Brewing Co. The role of Promotional Representative is
instrumental in delivering the brand message throughout the summer months at
various markets, beer festivals, sampling events, as well as working 1-2 shifts a
week in our small Brewery Tasting Room and Retail Store. The ideal candidate is
energetic, friendly and enjoys working both independently and with a team. This
position requires high organizational skills and the ability to connect and engage
with customers to provide them with a unique and memorable experience.
Required availability is part-time evenings and weekends throughout the
summer, upwards of 20 hours per week. There may be an opportunity to extend
the part-time position beyond the summer months.
RESPONSIBILITIES ( include but are not limited to)
- Organizing and maintaining promotional materials
- Loading and delivering beer, equipment and materials to market or event
- Set up and tear down of Good Neighbour booth at events and markets
- Sampling our beers to guests
- Engaging with customers while sharing our story
- Creating positive experience for guests in Good Neighbour tasting room
- Executing Tasting Room and Retail service standards while working in the store
- Following standard operating procedures for opening and closing of the store
(where applicable)

REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's licence
- Smart Choices Certified
- Ability to transport beer and event equipment independently

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS
-Ability and availability to work a flexible schedule min of 20 hrs per week
including evenings and weekends
-A team player, open to wearing the many hats that come with working at a
brewery
-A people person motivated by service and experience
- Prior taproom, serving and retail experience is recommended
- Great communication skills
- Smart Choices Certification is mandatory
- Passion and some knowledge of beer and the local craft beer industry
- Excited about the local makers - beer and all others
